Bob and Liz Shumaker are the owners of the LB Reptile Experience,Inc. and Gator Snatchers. Both work full time jobs and run a reptile rescue and sanctuary. They also are Nuisance Alligator Trappers and Board Members of the Jacksonville Herpetological Society. We started the rescue in 2005 and we had so many reptiles coming in that we started the LB Reptile Experience, doing educational reptile shows and parties to fund the rescue and to educate the public. We are also contracted through the state to remove nuisance alligators. Reptiles have become a passion for us and we love to take them out and share them with others.
