Actress

Kristin grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and had a sort of Huck Finn/Tom Sawyer childhood on the Red River with dreams of owning horses on a ranch in Miles City, Montana. Then, she discovered acting and had the opportunity to work with Rhoda and Dr.Delmar Hansen at Fargo North High School and at Moorhead State University. She went on to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and moved to New York City, working at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, the BAM Theatre and in Peter Hall's Amadeus on Broadway with Ian McKellen and Tim Curry. Kristin moved back to Fargo, started a family and was cast as Jean Lundegaard in Joel and Ethan Coen's movie version of "Fargo."  While raising her daughter, she acted in Pleasantville, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Chicago Hope, was a founding member of the Fargo Film Festival and co-wrote/directed a production of Imagine, a peace play, performed by youth from Russia, China and the United States.
