T. C. Boyle is an American novelist and short story writer. Since the mid-1970s, he has published twenty-four books. He has won the PEN/Faulkner Award twice, and the Prix Médicis étranger (France), as well as the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in the Short Story and the Henry David Thoreau Prize for nature writing. He is a Distinguished Professor of English at the University of Southern California.
