Paul Rudnick

Paul Rudnick is a playwright, novelist, screenwriter and essayist. His plays have been produced both on and off Broadway and around the world, and they include I Hate Hamlet, Jeffrey, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Valhalla, Regrets Only, The New Century and Cabin Pressure, and two of his short plays are included in Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. He's received an Obie, the John Gassner Playwrighting Award and two Outer Critics Circle Awards. His novels are Social Disease, I'll Take It and Gorgeous. His articles and essays have appeared in Esquire, Vogue, Vanity Fair and The New York Times, and he's a frequent contributor to The New Yorker, where his pieces have been included in the anthologies Fierce Pajamas and Disquiet, Please.
